Linear bushing bearings and linear way bearings incorporate several rows of recirculating balls or rollers for low friction and precise linear motion. Linear bushing bearings use a round shaft and linear way bearings have a rectangular shaped track. Both the inch and metric types are available as standard, adjustable and open, both with and without selas, depending on the requirements of the applications. The linear way series offers standard, wide, carbon steel and stainless steel variations.

The LWL Series offered by AST Bearings is a miniature type linear motion rolling guide, incorporating two rows of steel balls arranged in four-point contact with the raceways. Owning to its simple design, it provides stable accuracy and rigidity even in operations under fluctuating loads with changing direction and magnitude or complex loads. The standard products are made of stainless steel, and a wide range of variations in shapes and sizes are available for selection suitable for each application. The LWL Series is widely used in such fields as medical equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and liquid crystal related equipment, where its excellent performance has been proved.
